perfect album for fall love Lorelei prob my fave ct album (everyone says that though!!) but I have a big thing for the first album - which hardly anyone likes!!!
do ittttt, there's something so romantic about shooting/developing film, and making prints... especially if you have access to a dark room to do it yourself
listening to cocteau twins as the leaves fall... this album really has a distinct effect on me. definitely my favorite as well, although i've never heard their first one. i've heard some of their early music, like head over heels, i think it sounds strikingly like siouxsie and the banshees (in a good way!) i actually love their last album milk and kisses, but that's just me :)
true true - I don't have an enlarger anymore I had one for a while when I borrowed one. I really loved B+W printing ... I even miss developing the films!! ... and even things like 'not knowing what you've got till you look at the negs - and getting that rush when you see one that is exactly what you were after(!)
the first album is even *more* siouxsie sounding than HEAD OVER HEELS!! - I love that their sound evolved so much over their career
you've heard MOON AND THE MELODIES side project album? I wish it had been a proper CT album
good choice!!! it's not just you!! I love that album especially SEEKERS WHO ARE LOVERS - def in my top 5 CT songs
