feel the same when I play HIGHER THAN THE STARS ... Heart in your heartbreak ... young adult friction it's like a joyous sadness (autumn type) feeling?!
I saw them 2 years ago when they played my town at the time had heard nothing by them but had read about them in nme and knew I'd like them ... and they have the best band name ever - George
jealous! they are near the top of my list of bands to see live at the moment! i just recently got into them, i don't know how i went so long without hearing their music. i can't decide if i like their first or second album more...
tough one for sure - at the moment I think the 2nd one (I mean just track 1 '*alone*) really love the progression of their sound ... still lovin the slidy synths in 'heartbreak!! ... and love the 'wistful feeling of STRANGE
when I saw them I had just bought my Nikon D700 and was using flash ... I took a few test shots at the gig and thought, too dark, get the flash out (to bleach everything out - hindsight!) and took the rest with that - looking at them now, all horrible ... the test shot though ... I love... Kip bathed in red/blue light looking all forelorn ... *funny thing was at the time, I thought they looked ace and carried on using flash for months - I hardly ever use it now(!)
know exactly how you feel
