  1. it's not just you
for me it goes like this ... by January time and in 50,000
layers of clothes and nearly breaking my neck to get to the
gym in the snow I'm like 'remind me of this when I'm moaning
how hot it is' ... now it's summer and hot I'm thinking
'remind me of this when I'm moaning how cold it is' (exactly)
basically summer is only good for wearing shorts which I
can/+do in autumn ... autumn is the best season, followed by
crisp sunny winter days ... even though I hate both at the
time I'd much rather be cold than hot though + people are
    more annoying in the summer(!)

amazing pics - didn't realise they were yours
orig thought they were stock images you found on the
    net

wow chapterhouse are briliant - had heard nothing before
they perfectly compliment slowdive/lush (who I already
liked) so great to add a new band to that list

  2. thanks for the comments! at least i know that there's 1 person out there that has read something i've posted, haha...

autumn does seem like the perfect balance between the hottest days of summer and the coldest days in winter. there's this weird feeling i always get every fall that feels kind of nervous/anxious but also excited... there's something tainted about the day that it's too cold to wear shorts anymore, but also putting on a windbreaker/fall jacket for the first time...

also glad you liked the chapterhouse song!

  3. haha! I bet there's more than me though

I read a piece on percentage of people looking at blogs
compared with comments left ... a huge difference
I know from myself, before I did a blog I never left
a comment anywhere but read page after page!!

so true about Autumn ... esp when the days start
getting darker earlier ... will have to be pretty
cold before my shorts go away though - my plaid shirts
are *all ready* to be paired up with them!
